About Saturday Schools

DonĀ“t let your children miss out on the fabulous opportunity to maintain or learn your European language and help them be part of their own heritage.

It will open the doors to new worlds!

The term "Saturday School" refers to language schools that provide instruction for a certain language in a school setting but outside of the regular weekday schools that students attend.

While many of the classes take place on Saturdays, most "Saturday Schools" provide classes for children and adults also on other weekdays.

Some "Saturday Schools" also offer classes for adults.

The main objective of "Saturday Schools" is to provide international families with ways to maintain one or several of their native languages and thereby maintaining additional educational and professional options and opportunities for their children.

The event is part of the European Month of Culture and is supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the United States of America.
